FIG. 01 — TWO PROTECTIONS

Two different protections. Don’t let anyone blur them.

Workstation backup protects the machine on a desk. Server backup & disaster recovery protects the systems the firm runs on. They are priced, deployed, and governed separately — on purpose.

WORKSTATION BACKUP
Part of the Resilient coverage level — covered workstations, backed up daily, fourteen restore points. Lives with the device tiers at Managed IT (D-03).
SERVER BACKUP & DR
Its own agreement, per protected server, VM, or workload — deployed as a project, verified before billed. This page.
FIG. 02 — THE SERVICE

One verified job per asset per day.

THE JOB
One backup job per protected asset per day — run, verified, recorded.
WINDOWS
You select the start time per asset at onboarding:
3:00 AM6:00 AM12:00 PM6:00 PM9:00 PM12:00 AMET
STORAGE
Offsite, retention-locked (immutable) — no delete or encrypt path, for anyone. A stated allocation is included per protected asset.
RETENTION
Fourteen restore points at all times. The window rolls forward daily — each new verified job adds the latest point and the fifteenth-oldest drops off, so you always hold the most recent two weeks.
MONITORING
Backup jobs are watched. A failure is investigated, remediated under a defined procedure, and reported to you — not buried.
DEPLOYMENT
Scoped and quoted as its own fixed project. The monthly service is not invoiced until the environment is verified operational.
FIG. 03 — THE RECOVERY POINT, PLAINLY

Where you’d actually restore to.

WHAT IT IS
The completion of the last verified job. With daily jobs, the work done between that job and an incident is the exposure you are accepting — stated here, not discovered later.
WHAT IT ISN’T
Continuous replication or instant failover. Nobody should sell scheduled backup as either; we won’t.
IF YOU NEED TIGHTER
Say so. Tighter recovery objectives are scopeable, and that conversation costs nothing.
FIG. 04 — START WITH THE ASSESSMENT

Find out what’s actually protected.

Fixed fee, fixed scope, a written report that’s yours either way — and the fee credits forward in full if remediation begins within 30 days.

BACKUP & DISASTER RECOVERY ASSESSMENT
  • Fixed scope, fixed fee — what's protected, what isn't, and whether it restores.
  • Coverage, retention, and recovery points reviewed against your actual workloads.
  • The same written report and remediation quote.
  • Yours to keep, whichever provider you choose.
FEE CREDITS FORWARD — APPLIED IN FULL TO REMEDIATION BEGUN WITHIN 30 DAYS.
FLIP ⟲
WHAT GETS REVIEWED
  • Inventory of workloads — protected and not.
  • Where backups land, and who could alter them.
  • Retention depth against your obligations.
  • The recovery point you'd actually restore to.
  • What a bad day looks like, in writing.
